I rebooted the screen and the problem seems to have gone away. I've had no firmware updates, so what's triggering the behavior might be explained by a software buffer filling up. I just took delivery on Monday (now I understand the grin!! The first time or two I thought maybe I did something (like pushed the "next fave" button) but it has definitely happened without me pushing anything.
I don't know if it was bluetooth related but it might have been.
Took car in and Tesla says it's a firmware issue and will be addressed at some point. Yes, this happens very consistently on our S60 that we look delivery on December 31, 2017.
After observing it closely, was able to reproduce it and report it to Tesla.
Tesla says they are going to address this via a future firmware update!

It advances to my next Tune In Favorite uncommanded.
It switches from one favorite channel to another and I have to pull up the media screen and change it back and then try to figure out how to get back to the screen I was on (usually Tesla Waze in the browser). I have to say that the radio reception is very poor anyway compared to previous cars. The 8.0 Media Player app has a number of problems (it won't load a Station List for XM radios in cars produced with the 8.0 firmware).
